I’m Lisa, and since establishing Lisa Gardner VA in 2018, I’ve worked with coaches and service-based business owners who are brilliant at what they do — but find that running the business is starting to get in the way of doing the work they love. The admin, the chasing, the “did I actually send that contract?” panic on a Sunday evening. The sense that however hard you work, the to-do list never quite gets shorter.
I help take that off your plate, so you can focus on your clients rather than your inbox. With over 30 years in senior operational roles, a Masters in Business Management & Operations, and certification as a Dubsado Specialist, I bring a genuine passion for process and customer experience to everything I do. I’m not precious about tools — what matters is finding what actually works for your business and your clients, not just what’s trending this month. But I do love bringing order to chaos. My kitchen cupboards have the tins facing forward and the stock rotated — so when I say this comes naturally to me, I mean it.
I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means I get to know your business properly and I’m genuinely invested in how it runs. It’s collaborative, practical, and built around you — not a one-size-fits-all template.

This is my other half – he has been a supporter of Lisa Gardner VA since day one, and he keeps the wheels turning — quite literally. A recently retired professional with a lifetime of getting things done, he now applies that same energy to running a tight ship on all fronts at our HQ here in SW France. Instead of putting his feet up when he retired, he rolled up his sleeves and dedicated himself to a plethora of support roles.
Barry doesn’t do spreadsheets or strategy — but without him, nothing else in this business would run half as smoothly.

Alfie Gardner

Alfie joined the team in February 2023 and has never missed a single working day since. His role is simple but essential: keep morale high.
Mornings start with the obligatory headbump-and-kiss briefing, and from there he divides his time between supervising from the office pouffe and demanding the team take regular breaks from their screens to give him some long overdue fuss!
He’s a vocal one, and not shy about letting you know when it’s time for attention. So much so, he’s become something of a client favourite too; if he hears a familiar voice on a Teams or Zoom call, he often saunters across my desk to say a personal hello.
Such a handsome chap – wellbeing, staff morale and client relations, all in one very furry package.
